Brussel Sprouts and Shrimp

If you would have told me 10 years ago I'd be casually snacking on brussel sprouts I'd call you a filthy liar. But my husband popped some on the grill one day (wrapped in bacon) and I've been hooked ever since. Don't get me wrong, these little baby cabbages can be quite bitter if not prepared properly, so they're not just naturally tasty.
The key is having something packed with flavor and savory elements (like bacon) or adding something sweet like honey.
Here's an easy recipe for easy but actually GOOD brussel sprouts. Enjoy!
(Inspired by keviniscooking.com).
You'll need:
-Honey
-Balsamic Vinegar
-Extra VIrgin Olive Oil
-Salt and Pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cut brussel sprouts into halves. Toss brussel sprouts in about 4 tbsp of olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss until evenly coated. Place sprouts into baking dish/sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and toss sprouts in vinegar and honey mixture. I used about a 1/2 cup of honey and /14 cup of vinegar.
That's it! It doesn't get easier or much healthier. And it actually tastes good!
